Roughly 750 people are being investigated for treason

The Ukrainian security service SBU states that hundreds of people are being investigated for treason.

Meanwhile, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine continues to claim civilian lives.

Ukrainian authorities are investigating over 750 cases of treason and cooperation with Russian forces, according to the security service SBU, Kyiv Independent reports.

Most cases are investigated in Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson.

Died during evacuation

Meanwhile, fighting continues in southern Ukraine.

Three people were killed in a Russian grenade attack in the Kherson region as they were about to be evacuated, the Ukrainian military said. According to the Ukrainian information, the shell hit a minibus that was to evacuate civilians from a village in the countryside.

A total of seven people must have been on board the bus, Kyiv Independent writes. The people have been taken to hospital.

Explosions in Mykolaiv

On Sunday, Mykolaiv in southern Ukraine was exposed to extensive Russian bombardment. The Russian attack is said to have continued during the night of Monday and according to the city’s mayor Oleksandr Senkevytch, explosions were heard around the city also during the night of Tuesday, according to the Kyiv Independent.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, governor of the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine, stated on Twitter that three civilians were killed and three others wounded in the region on Monday.
