The mayor of Nieuwegein, Marijke van Beukering, has responded to the situation at Sint Antonius hospital. “I was very shocked tonight by the news about the collapse of the ramps of the parking garage at St Antonius. It is still unclear how this could have happened. We hope that no people are involved. I now want to offer all the space to the emergency services to do their work and wish them good luck and strength.”
