What is Yellowjackets about? The thriller series Yellowjackets is about a group of young soccer players who crashed a plane in the wilderness 25 years ago. Here the team split into savage clans. In the present, as adult women, they are still struggling with the tragic events of that time.
The series tells the story accordingly on two time levels:
Season 1 was an incandescent spiral of escalation that seems to completely burn out in Season 2. That the schoolgirls would resort to cannibalism in the wild has so far only been hinted at.
