ADEO Bricocenter and Leroy Merlin aims for a turnover of

(Finance) – The ADEO groupoperating in Italy under the brands Bricocenter, Leroy Merlin and Tecnomat, has taken its place the goal of achieving a consolidated turnover of 6 billion euros by 2026 in our country, compared to 4.3 in 2022. More in the long term, the ambition is to reach a turnover of 10 billion euros and to this end it plans to invest 1 billion euros in Italy. With the new three-year development plan, ADEO aims to accelerate customer services including consultancy with the inclusion of architects who can develop for the customer a complete renovation project, design, installation and installation.

The main areas of intervention will concern the strengthening an omnichannel approachthe enhancement of B2C and voluminous products, the launch of new formats and the relaunch of the franchising formula for Bricocenter, as well as through the revision of the IT and logistics structure which will be strengthened with new Market Delivery Centers and regional redistribution points.

To ensure greater capillarity throughout the national territory, the ADEO Group in Italy has foreseen theopening of about 50 new points of sale in various formats and in the 3 brands, in the next three years. About half of these will concern the various formats of the Leroy Merlin brand which will be added to the 53 already existing stores. Also by virtue of this expansion, the Group in Italy expects to create around 2,500 jobs in the three-year periodhalf of which for the Leroy Merlin brand.

Bricocenter, Leroy Merlin and Tecnomat will also invest in the supply chain by strengthening their national logistics network and promoting a more widespread territorial distribution. For example, for Leroy Merlin, this expansion will materialize within the next two years in the opening of at least 10 new Market Delivery Centers and regional redistribution points in synergy with the other brands of the Group, including in the areas of Mantua, Catania, Sassuolo, Naples, Bologna, Padua and in the hinterland of Milan and Rome which will complement the already existing National Distribution Centers of Castel San Giovanni , in the province of Piacenza, and Colleferro, the latter further expanded by over 20,000 m2. This strengthening of the logistics structure is estimated to generate a further 200 new indirect jobs.
