This is how young people think about conscription in the case of NATO membership

Members of NATO are bound to support each other in the event of an attack by someone outside the alliance. For soldiers who have done military service, this may mean that they need to defend other NATO countries.

– That’s where it gets a little difficult. It wouldn’t have been very nice to die, but if we are in NATO, we have to do our part, says 16-year-old Theo Turesson, who himself is considering military service when the time comes.
