Necromancer build only takes one button for massive damage and constant healing

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The second beta weekend of Diablo 4 is the necromancer in the game. Here’s a fierce build that basically takes just one button to turn everything around you into gory remnants.

After my colleague Benedict Grothaus and I leveled up all classes together in the last week, druids and necromancers are on the agenda for the second beta weekend. With our accumulated experience we will find or create you strong builds for the beta:

For me, the necromancer is now on the plan, which I also want to play for the release. And the choice seems to be a good one so far – the Scytheslinger is super strong in the beta.

I picked out a heavy “Blood Mist” build from YouTuber “Mattjestic MultiGaming” that reduces Diablo 4 to a button. However, that one button will boil your blood and your opponent’s blood to a nearby wall.

If you want to see the gameplay of the build, here is the English video by Mattjestic MultiGaming (minute 10:12):

The build will only unfold once you have found the appropriate Legendary Aspect. This aspect changes the ability “Blood Mist” and lets you blow up corpses with it.

You then use “Blood Mist” and cast “Corpse Explosion” at the same time – that’s why there are 5 skill points in it, but you don’t need the skill in your skill bar.

    Required Legendary Aspect:

  • Aspect for the Blood Mist skill
  • Bloodmist explodes corpses, and each corpse exploded reduces Bloodmist’s cooldown
  • Strong Legendary Aspect:

  • Aspect for the Bone Spear skill
  • Bone Spear hits wound enemies, Bone Spear Shards deal extra damage to wounded enemies
  • Fortify the build with additional Legendary Aspects that create more corpses, increase your crowd control effects, increase your overall damage, and improve Corpse Explosion or Bone Spear skills. Here are the best farming spots for Legendaries in beta.

During the beta, Legendary drop chances are significantly increased.

    Gameplay and Playstyle

It’s all about the interaction of corpses and the Bloodmist skill.

Your minions run into groups of enemies and you activate Blood Mist. While the skill is active you are invulnerable, receive healing and have increased movement speed. You also create more corpses out of thin air.

The Legendary “Blood Mist” effect causes any corpses you move over in the “Blood Mist” form to explode and ignite the effect of “Corpse Explosion” even though you don’t have the skill in your skill bar.

Each corpse explosion in turn reduces the cooldown of Blood Mist. This often allows you to re-ignite the skill directly. You deal massive (area) damage, are constantly invulnerable, heal and move faster.

If you discover tough opponents or fight bosses, fire off a few “bone spears” in between. They ensure wounded opponents who absorb 20% more damage. Bone Spear also has strong Legendary aspects, making it a powerful complement to Blood Mist.
