The baccalaureate candidates have all passed the 2022 baccalaureate economics and social sciences specialty test, at least those who have followed the education in first and final year. This year, two examination sessions have been organized, on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 May, for timing reasons. Who says two tests, also says two subjects to avoid cheating and ensure equality between all candidates. Whatever the day of their convocation, the high school students had the choice between a dissertation with an economic focus – the subjects focused on economic growth or international trade – and two composite tests including a reasoning exercise based on science social. No surprise therefore for candidates who have studied in depth all these essential themes of the SES program.
The copies of the SES tests have been returned and are now going through the hands of the correctors, but the candidates must wait until July 5, the date of the official publication of the baccalaureate results, to know their mark which remember the coefficient 16 account in the general average of the baccalaureate. What are the SES subjects for the baccalaureate in 2022?
The subjects of the SES exam for the 2022 baccalaureate are available in their entirety in partnership with Studyrama. On Wednesday, May 11, the dissertation was mainly placed under the sign of the economy with a question on growth: “Is the accumulation of factors of production the only source of economic growth”. The reasoning exercise, supported by a documentary file, was a little more ambivalent but slightly more focused on the social sciences since it dealt with work and especially with the evolution of employment and the integrating role of work. The questions of knowledge, they cast a wider net, mixing economics and sociology.
For the second series of topics, on Thursday May 12, candidates were able to choose between the essay topic “How can we explain international trade?” and the two composite tests including the common exercise of reasoning on a documentary file proposing to “show that the approach in terms of social classes to account for French society can be called into question”. With regard to the questions of mobilization of knowledge they related to both economic and social subjects and finally the study of the document was interested in the growth and the increase in productivity.

When will the results of the SES test be published?
A priori, the results of the specialty test in economics and social sciences will be available on July 5, at the same time as the results of the other tests (French, philosophy and major oral). The fact that specialty courses are evaluated one month earlier does not affect the publication of the results.
