Butler is set to star in the upcoming war series Masters of the Air, which is being produced by Hanks and Steven Spielberg. In an interview with Variety, the star explained how she landed the role:
I will never have such an experience again [wie bei Elvis] have. [Tom Hanks sagte zu mir:] You’ve gotten so immersed in Elvis that it would be wise for your sanity to do something new right away. If you take a break now you could carry away emotional trauma. And I’ve got this thing right now that I’m producing.
Austin Butler’s fans will wish him the best in his recovery. And much success. Masters of the Air is about anything but a small gap project. The series aims to complete the World War II saga started by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks with Band of Brothers and The Pacific. She has no start date yet.
