In March 2023, the very first season of TV4’s new dating program “Min mamma, din pappa” premiered. In the controversial dating show, single parents would find love, while their children spied on them a stone’s throw away.
Sigrid Åhs was in “My mother, your father”
One of the participants who engaged the viewers the most was Sigrid Ohs, 50. But even before her participation in the dating program, Sigrid Åhs was no stranger to the television camera. During the 90s, she was Miss Citron in the program “Tutti Frutti” and also won the award “Sveriges Pamela Anderson“.

And Sigrid Åhs actually found love during the recording of “Min mamma, din pappa”. In the dating program she was paired with Emil Berger. But in August 2023, it was clear that the couple’s love story had ended.

– I tried together with Emil to create a good and nice relationship. And it turned out that we worked well as friends, but it ran into the sand a little bit. And the distance does its job. If you then have both work and home, then everything should work a little smoothly. And it doesn’t always do that, although you would like to, Sigrid Åhs tells us News24 and adds:
– It didn’t turn out exactly as planned, but we tried for ten months anyway. It wasn’t enough all the way.
Now Sigrid Åhs has entered the TV box once more, but this time in a completely new context. In January 2024, she competed in TV4’s quiz program Postkodmiljonären. It is not entirely easy to prepare to be part of the prestigious Postcode Millionaire program, because questions can actually come about just about anything.
– I tested different types of quizzes, both in the form of board games and also quizzes on the phone, says Sigrid and continues:
– I always keep up to date with news, so I didn’t think it would be a problem. I also tried to refresh my memory a bit with history and the like. But as I said, you never know. Something of what you have refreshed in your memory may appear, but something completely different may also appear. That is really why you are so at the mercy of others.
This is how the secret test works in Postcode millionaire: “Not prepared”
Sigrid Åhs, who works as a physical education teacher when she is not seen on TV, says that it was precisely questions in that area that she hoped would appear.
– Things that deal with the body, purely in terms of sports. Perhaps dance and different types of sports, and also things that concern bones and muscles. But it’s not like you immediately get what you want, but you can always hope.

Once in the “hot seat”, it is the presenter Rickard Sjöberg who asks the questions to the participants. And Sigrid Åhs tells us that Rickard Sjöberg is actually just as nice as he appears on TV.
– Absolutely, I think so. He is very relaxed, pleasant and popular. He was exactly as you experience him on TV, explains Sigrid and adds:
– Even behind the scenes. It’s not a game to the gallery or anything, but he’s really very nice.

The “Min mamma, din pappa” participant says that she had the opportunity to meet and talk with Rickard Sjöberg, also backstage.
– Yes I did. Both before and after, we talked. He explained a little bit how it works, which was very good so you have it clear to you, even if you have of course seen the program before.
