Milano then equalized after an even second set that ended 25-23. In the third, Isabelle Haak stepped up again and contributed strongly to Conegliano winning the third set 25-19.

Haak: “Very emotional”

It couldn’t have been more dramatic. Milan rose again to win the fourth 25-19 and it would all be decided in a decisive fifth set.

There, Conegliano drew the longest straw (15–9), securing the Champions League title. Isabelle Haak was the best in the final with her 23 points and was named the match’s MVP.

– It is very emotional. There are many in the team who are going to leave us too, so all emotions are involved. It was the best end to the season. This is the biggest thing you can win in a club team, so it feels incredible, she told SVT Sport after the match.
