“We used to have a bill of 25 euros every month for heat, that will be 133 euros from January. So a fivefold increase,” says co-initiator of the petition and student Tristan Staupe. “So we are trying to recruit people for our petition. Everyone has received an email (about the announced increase, ed.), but people often do not know that they are not covered by the price ceiling.”
