Shots were fired late on Monday evening at a residential building in the countryside north of Sölvesborg in Blekinge.
– We can establish that someone has shot at the property. There are traces of it at the scene, says Thomas Söderberg, officer on duty at the police.
Two people are said to have been inside the house when it was fired upon, but no injuries have been reported.
The site is cordoned off and technicians are examining it during the night. The police do not have any suspects. The incident is being investigated as suspected attempted murder and serious weapons offences.
