Dmitry Kolker, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Head of the Novosibirsk State University Quantum Optical Technologies Laboratory, was detained at the hospital in Novosibirsk, where he was treated for stage 4 cancer, by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).

Alexander Fedulov, the lawyer of 54-year-old physicist Dmitry Kolker, said that he tried to contact the authorities today but was turned away, saying that Kolker passed away. Fedulov also said he will file a legal complaint about Kolker’s detention conditions on Monday. (UAV)
