Popular but with a negative image among the general public, sharks certainly have more to fear from us than the reverse. Collateral victims of the sin commercial or trafficking targets for their teeth or iconic fins, millions of sharks are massacred every year. By comparison, over the same time interval, a hundred “attacks” on humans have been recorded, only a handful of them are fatal.
