New Star Wars series answers 20 year old question Obi Wan struggled with

The Star Wars series on Disney+ keeps filling Gaps left in the sci-fi universe after the movies. With Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, a new animated series by Dave Filoni has just been released on Disney+, which takes us back to the era of the prequels and tells small, stand-alone stories.

An episode of the new Star Wars animated series also clarifies a question from Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, which was then Driven Obi-Wan Kenobi to despair.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi solves mysteries surrounding clone trooper creation

In Star Wars: Episode II, Obi-Wan and Yoda stumble upon the secret planet of Kamino in search of the thwarted assassination attempt on Padmé. Here they find out that the Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas created a clone trooper army for the Republic 10 years earlier. In particular, Obi-Wan wonders how the planet could have disappeared from the Jedi radar all this time and remained so undiscovered.

As Comic Book explains, an episode of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi solves this mystery. As it turns out, Count Dooku is behind it. The new animated series follows Dooku’s development across three short stories and also reveals that the lured to the dark side of the Force by Darth Sidious Jedi behind the secrecy of the planet Kamino.
