After years of litigation with the municipality of Montfoort, the owner of an apartment complex has been equated. The dispute was about the allocation of twelve parking spaces at the building. According to the owner, the parking spaces were his property, but the municipality claimed that parking spaces should become public. According to the Supreme Court, that is not correct and the municipality of Montfoort must now pay the owner tons of compensation.
