Several police patrols were sent to Artillerigatan in central Landskrona after reports of “loud bangs”. A man with a gunshot wound was found on the ground.
– I was at the pizzeria when eight to ten shots were heard. Several visitors sought shelter and I ran up to the injured person who was lying lifeless on the ground outside, says Fideli, who witnessed the shooting.
Fideli and another person started CPR while waiting for police and an ambulance.
– When we arrive at the scene, there are a lot of people outside, says Patric Fors, press spokesperson at police region South.
At 10:20 p.m., the police announced that the man has died of his injuries and they are now investigating a murder.
The man’s next of kin have been notified.

– The police are now trying to form an idea of who the person is and whether he has any connections to the criminal environment, he says.
The suspected crime scene is cordoned off.
– There were people sitting on the outdoor terrace who heard and saw the drama, says Mikael Nilsson.
No suspect
Information gathering in the form of door knocking continues, the police write on their website. A gun dog is also on site to search for traces.
