  • Defense equips itself against drones – with Wingman and Pitbull

Drones flying over protected objects have become increasingly common. The military – which equips itself to detect and knock out drones – doesn’t like it.

A quick deal has been concluded with a Danish company, the Swedish Armed Forces announces in a press release.

    – It is about two systems. It is portable and should go to units with guard duties. It has a device that warns of drones and one that disrupts it. The system is called Wingman and Pitbull and is bought from Denmark, says lieutenant colonel Ulf Lepp.

The equipment will be installed on units within the air force and navy already before the turn of the year. Then it must be rolled out on a broad front.

The Dobberman system is also purchased from the same supplier to protect military transports.

The ambition is to then increase the ability further. Among other things, tests of laser weapons and microwave weapons are carried out. In 2023, the Swedish Armed Forces plan to strengthen protection against military drones.

    – In war, other rules and laws apply, then it’s about shooting down or striking out, in different ways. This is done with systems that are more reminiscent of military air defense, says lieutenant colonel Ulf Lepp in the press release.

Now People and Defense have decided to port him from the event.

    – It was a very difficult decision to make. Folk og försvar’s board does not make an assessment of the views on the Iran issue, but has established that there are very strong opinions and public opinion about Parsi, says chairman Göran Arrenius and continues:

    – When affiliates choose not to come because of his participation, we believe that there is too great a risk that we lose focus on the conference and that we lose our important members.

    It writes The Telegraph.

The statement comes in connection with next year being 150 years since slavery was abolished in the country.

    – The government wants to work for increased awareness, recognition and understanding in consultation with all groups and all countries with which we share history. It is a process that will take time and work that can only be carried out in the community, says Rutte.

A number of ministers have traveled to the former colonies of Suriname, Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius and Sint Maarten to convey the government’s message on the ground.

Rutte also highlighted the connections between slavery and contemporary racist structures.

    – I thought for a long time that slavery in the past is history, something that is behind us. But I was wrong, says the Prime Minister, according to De Telegraf.

  • How far has it come in the investigation into who was behind the explosion of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipes? When is the investigation expected to be completed? Will the investigation, parts of it, become classified information?

Hey! Good question, so far not much has emerged from the investigation. But we’ll keep an eye on it and write about it in case we find out more!

  • Is it really a case if the police suspect attempted murder? Why suspect the woman instead of putting the weight and weight on what the police suspect: that a man pushed her to her death.

    Redo do right… again…. ?

    Angry!

See answer to the question below.

One person has been arrested and there are reports that the woman fell because she was pushed. It’s in the notice.

  • Fake news again? The woman was thrown from the balcony, she didn’t fall.. Distorting, keeping silent or lying as a journalist seems to be a code of honor at AB.. Ugh..

    Eric T.

We still don’t know exactly what happened.

There are reports that she may have been pushed, and the police have arrested one person. It’s in the notice.

Whether it is so or not is not something we can confirm, the police investigation will have to show that.
