In WoW, your favorite streamers on Twitch are personally delivering food to you this weekend

Thanks to the Uber Eats app, you can not only provide food for yourself, but also for your game characters in World of Warcraft. The food delivery app has partnered with Blizzard and developed a Warcraft courier.

What is Uber Eats? Uber Eats is a food delivery app. It connects restaurants, consumers and couriers so that the food gets to its destination as quickly as possible. Uber Eats is available in over 70 cities in Germany.

Most recently, the service started in Moers, Recklinghausen and Siegen and is now arriving in the virtual world of Azeroth, home of World of Warcraft. Find out more at uber.com.

What is the Warcraft Courier? Uber Eats and Blizzard have teamed up to temporarily introduce a character named Orderyn to World of Warcraft. Orderyn is a heroic character who provides players with in-game food and aids them in their adventures.

The name is certainly based on “order”.

Here you can see a WoW trailer for Patch 10.1 Embers by Neltharion. MyMMO demon Cortyn fell in love with World of Warcraft again.

How does the Warcraft courier work? From June, well-known influencers such as “jessirocks”, “Tinkerleo” and “metashi12” will take over the role of Orderyn. Users can message Orderyn directly in-game and order food for their characters, which he will then deliver for them.

The streamers will slip into the role of Orderyn on the following dates:

There will also be live stream raffles where you can win vouchers for Uber Eats. A tweet from Warcraft_DE suggests that additional rewards can be secured in World of Warcraft.

“If it comes to cosmetics, you should expect headwind”

How is the community reacting? conflicted. A user writes that he is happy and is already hungry. Many react to the announcement with question marks. A lot of people don’t seem to be able to do anything with it.

The user theKazui2 writes on the tweet from June 9th: “I hope the whole thing stays with only 7 days of playing time for a €10 order. If it comes to cosmetics, mounts or anything else, you should expect a headwind. For example, I couldn’t even get anything delivered because I don’t have anything and it’s not worth the money.”

Overall, very few users have responded to the tweets, and so far nothing has been read about the streamers on Twitter. So it remains to be seen how the action will be received.

With the latest patch you don’t get any food, but you do get a small grab bag in Word of Warcraft, because:
