The corona commission that was appointed to review Sweden’s handling of the corona pandemic pointed, among other things, to a lack of medical competence in elderly care. That was one of the reasons why they started KTC in Högdalen in late summer 2022.
So far, over 800 municipal employees have been trained at the centre.
– Now we are better equipped in the event of a pandemic, says unit manager Malin Ljung.
