For or against the lithium mine? This is the question asked to residents of Échassières, a village of 400 inhabitants in central France. The multinational Imerys wants to open this mine by the end of 2028, to power the batteries of electric cars which will be built in Europe. But in Échassières the project divides. A public debate is underway.
