Drug bust with connections to Åre and Nälden – one kilo of amphetamine seized

A man living in Nälden is suspected of having stored and sold over 5,000 narcotic tablets, one kilo of amphetamine, two hectoliters of cannabis and 800 grams of hash. The narcotics are also said to have been sold to two Norwegians, a man and a woman, who intended to resell the preparations in Norway.

A man from Åre is suspected of aiding and abetting a serious drug crime after connecting the man in Nälden with the Norwegian buyers.

The Norwegians, who were arrested at a hotel in Östersund, are suspected of serious drug offences.

The man from Åre is also suspected of three cases of drug offences, as he is said to have stored, among other things, cannabis, amphetamines and MDMA. He also allegedly sold hashish to two men living in Åre.

The arrests took place between the end of September and the middle of October this year. The links between the people involved have been able to be confirmed after the police reviewed conversations from an encrypted mobile app.
