For more than half his life, Douglas has been interested in fixing nails.
Today, Douglas is 12 years old and has his own nail studio in his room.
– It’s fun to keep tinkering and be creative, says Douglas.
The interest in artificial nails began when Douglas was five years old. It was then the great role model mother Monette, who at that time trained as a nail therapist.
– Then I also wanted to try it out. Then it just continued, says Douglas.
Today, mother Monette runs her own nail studio. In his room, Douglas has his own small studio, where everything that can be needed to create beautiful nails is available. In the interview, he shows off some of his creations where each nail is its own little work of art.
How do you think when you are going to build up such a nice nail?
– You can let loose in your own world and come up with something. Or take inspiration from something.
Unfortunately, since Douglas is only 12 years old, he is not allowed to work as a nail therapist. But he has received several requests on Instagram from people who want to come and get their nails done.
– Then I unfortunately have to say no.
Douglas’s big dream is to continue working with nails and become a great nail therapist in the future.
– I want to be big in that world.
