Attention, follow spoiler!

No new Star Wars project without fan theories: every time we embark on an adventure in a galaxy far, far away, there are some references and references to previous stories to uncover. Even in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series with Ewan McGregor, fans have already exciting connections discovered.

One of the most popular theories (caught by ScreenCrush, among others) posits that each episode of the series one of the Skywalker episodes mirrors, in which Obi-Wan appears as a character. Last but not least, the new Star Wars series acts as a link between the prequel and the original trilogy through its characters and themes.

Star Wars Theory: This is how Obi-Wan Kenobi reflects the first six episodes of the Skywalker saga

In the start of the Obi-Wan series, for example, we learn about Vivien Lyra Blair’s Leia Organa young version of an iconic Star Wars character just as Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace introduces us to Anakin Skywalker, played by Jake Lloyd. Obi-Wan has to protect both characters more or less involuntarily.

The second Obi-Wan episode contains some references to Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. These include the clone trooper cameo and the dystopian world of Daiyu, which closely resembles the neon-lit streets of Coruscant. The parallels become clearest in the two following episodes.

The first encounter between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader immediately follows on from that fateful Mustafar duel in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith reference. Afterwards, young Leia is freed from an Imperial facility, as if Obi-Wan were secretly preparing for the Death Star foray into Star Wars.

Big revelations and scary Vader performances is not only in The Empire Strikes Back, but also in the fifth episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Now we can’t wait to see how the series finale references Return of the Jedi. No wonder that Luke was also put in the picture recently.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi Finale will be released on June 22, 2022 on Disney+.
