Israeli security sources admitted that when Palestinians struggling with famine in the north of the Gaza Strip surrounded humanitarian aid trucks and approached Israeli forces, soldiers saw them as a threat and opened fire on the crowd.
An attack was carried out on hundreds of Palestinians waiting to receive humanitarian aid near the Nablusi Junction in the south of Gaza. 104 people died and 760 people were injured in the attack.

Sources claimed that the Palestinians who surrounded the aid trucks “came close to threatening” the Israeli soldiers who were allowing the trucks to pass, and admitted that the Israeli soldiers responded to the situation by opening fire. Sources stated that the incident is being investigated.
In the written statement made by the Israeli army, it was claimed that “Gaza residents surrounded the trucks and started looting aid, and some Palestinians were injured in the scuffle and stampede.”
