– London has stood by Kiev since the first day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said in a speech to the British Parliament on Wednesday.

It is reportedly only the second time that the president leaves Ukraine after the large-scale war of aggression started by Russia. Zelenskyi is scheduled to continue his journey on Wednesday evening to Paris and tomorrow Thursday to Brussels, where the extraordinary EU summit will begin.

On Wednesday in London, Zelenskyi did not spare the words of thanks addressed to the British.

The president stated that while the rest of the world was still thinking about how to react to the Russian attack, Great Britain offered a helping hand. A personal mention was also given to the former prime minister who appeared in the Westminster Hall audience Boris Johnson.
