Two people are suspected of having been run over with intent at Hisingen in Gothenburg. A woman in her 40s has died and the other person is seriously injured. Four people have now been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder.
Two people were taken to hospital after they were hit by a car in Lundby in Gothenburg. At midnight, the police announced that one of the victims, a woman in her 40s, had died from her injuries. The second person is in a serious but stable condition.
The police initially suspected a crime and have concluded in their investigation that the people were probably run over on purpose. The circumstances surrounding the incident are otherwise unclear.
The police have launched a so-called special event due to the murder.
