Her parents probably came to live there in 1953. “My grandfather, Aris Kramer, had arranged that. It was a small house and my parents got married that year.” According to Margreet, the winter of 1955 was very cold. “My brother had just been born, and they almost froze in that house, then they temporarily moved in with family. There was room there, because they had twelve children, and they had flown out.”
