With her tight jumpsuit her yeti apres ski and her pouty

Lily-Rose Depp is one of the most fashionable young models in recent seasons. The one who has been an ambassador for the house of Chanel since 2015 was chosen by the French house to represent its Coco Neige collection.

Ski suit, ultra warm coat and ice skates…The last shooting of Lily-Rose Depp plunges us into the heart of winter. The young woman lent her image to the Coco Neige 2023-2024 collection from Chanel, of which she has been the ambassador since 2015.

This new line, created by Virginie Viardthe artistic director of the brand since the death of Karl Lagerfeld in 2019, gives skier gear its fashionable stripes. The outfits, inspired by figure skating, have irresistible 70’s accents. Iridescent tight-fitting jumpsuit, yeti-effect après-ski boots, fuchsia pink sleeveless down jacket, velvet ensemble covered with the Chanel logo, designer ice skates… Winter sports have never been so stylish.

To immortalize the campaign, photographed by Mikael Jansson, Lily-Rose Depp went to a deserted ice rink. The photos, in which she displays her eternal pout, recall the atmosphere of the film Me, Tonya (2017) which looked back on the story of athlete Tonya Harding.

But it’s another feature film that the place evokes for the model: “When I learned that the shoot would take place in an ice rink, I couldn’t help but think of Princess on Ice, this movie that I watched constantly when I was a little girl. I think I wanted to be a skater, too!” confides the one who eventually became a Hollywood actress and a model for Chanel.

Lily-Rose Depp and Chanel, a family affair

Lily-Rose Depp is not the only one in her family to have a special relationship with the house on rue Cambon. Before her, it was her mother, the singer Vanessa Paradis, who played the muse for the Parisian brand. His first campaign for the N°5 perfume, shot in 1991, made an impression.

Twenty-five years later, it was Lily-Rose Depp’s turn to embody this legendary juice. Since then, mother and daughter often sit together in the front row of Chanel fashion shows, which they watch, dressed from head to toe by the double C label.
