The murder of Haga: Here the 29-year-old tells about when he killed the woman – thinking she was a zombie

It was at the end of September that a woman was found dead in an apartment on Haga in Umeå. A man was arrested on the spot who has now been charged with murder.

  • The man has admitted that he killed the woman. The Swedish Medical Examiner’s Office has assessed that the man committed the crime under the influence of a serious mental disorder. However, he was not judged to suffer from a mental disorder during the examination.

    The man: “Never experienced anything like this”

    The prosecutor asks during the trial what he thinks is the reason why he loses his sense of reality in this way.

    – I assume they have to do with the amphetamine. I have never experienced anything like this and it is recently that I usually take amphetamines.

    The man has told the police that he felt that the woman was already dead in his head and that she had no soul.
