William Nylander’s new streak – points in eleven straight games

The Swedish superstar has been red-hot this season and showed the way again last night with three more points as Toronto beat Columbus 4-1.

Nylander opened the season with points in 17 straight games, then went empty-handed from three straight, but is now red hot again with points in 11 straight games.

The Swede is fourth in the NHL’s scoring league with 45 points (16+29) in 31 games. Leading the way is Tampa Bay’s Nikita Kucherov at 57, ahead of Colorado’s Natchan MacKinnon at 54 and Vancouver’s JT Miller at 48.

If “Willy Styles” maintains this scoring average, he will stay at 119 total points when the season is over. Last season he scored 87, which was his best mark of his career.
