Weekly reset on September 26th – Brings new weapon at dusk

With today’s weekly reset in Destiny 2, a new weapon is coming into the game. However, this is only available if you master the twilight. MeinMMO also tells you what else is happening this week.

This is what’s happening this week: This week, Destiny 2 will of course rotate its activities again, making one of the toughest twilights in Season 22 accessible: The Robbery Battlefield on Mars.

  • The Robbery Battlegrounds came into play in Season 19.
  • Back then, players had to infiltrate BrayTech facilities throughout the system to collect Rasputin’s Sub-Mind – parts of Rasputin’s consciousness.
  • Then Bungie announced that it would be adding the Battlegrounds to the Vanguard playlists, creating a particularly tricky and demanding twilight activity that demands everything from the Guardians.
  • Some people there had to give in to the onslaught of the enemies in the front row without a chance. This is also the reason why Bungie has adjusted the activity slightly again.
  • This is this week’s new weapon: However, this tough front-runner challenge will also feature the latest twilight weapon as a reward this week of Season 22. The Master Solar Bow Pre Astyanax IV. It’s only available as a regular drop every six weeks and offers all sorts of bells and whistles, like a refined perk pool and new and unique features.

And of course the story of Season 22 continues, in which a dead Hive Witch cunningly continues her long-held plan.

  • Weekly activities

These are the ritual activities: Season 22 offers Guardians new challenges and a card deck that supports them on their missions with buffs and advantages. As long as they unlock everything and put together their deck appropriately.

  • Altars of Summoning: Make offerings in the Witch Queen’s otherworldly prison to summon, defeat, and gain power from hideous enemies.
  • There are three difficulty levels that you can activate. So if you activate “Mighty”, the highest difficulty level with three swords, you’ll start to sweat a lot.
  • However, expanding your deck makes it increasingly easier.
  • Savathûn’s Pillar: Set the Pillar in motion, defeat its overseers, and gain access to the Altars of Summoning.
  • Void Crystals have a barrier around them, protecting nearby enemies. The barrier must be entered and the crystal destroyed from within.
  • Solar Crystals burn when picked up and must be transported to a separate part of the arena.
  • Arc Crystals provide the Charge buff “Crystalline Charge” in melee combat. Inactive Arc Crystals must be awakened with a “Transfer Melee”.
  • Lightfall – Weekly Campaign Mission

  • Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City

If you still need triumphs from the dream city, then be careful: the corruption will reveal new entrances to you with a sip of “Queen’s Leaves Tincture”.

  • Petra Venj You can now find it in the Dreaming City right on the Rheasilvia – as always for the 3rd Curse Week. At the same time, the 1st Ascendant Challenge is active.
  • All sources for top loot in Destiny 2 Season 22

More power level comes automatically: Power levels will also be suspended in Season 22, meaning the hard power level cap in Destiny 2 remains unchanged at 1,810. This means that no player is forced to perform at their best every week, but rather automatically levels up the artifact level in all activities.

  • There are still tough challenges, even without increasing the power level. For example, in Grandmaster Raids, Frontier Twilights, Grandmaster Lost Sectors or the Trials of Osiris. A high artifact level is advantageous and necessary here.
  • However, if you are not currently at the hard cap of 1,810, we have listed the best sources for top loot for you here.

This top loot brings your power level up to 1,810:

  • Top raid “Crota’s End” (+2)
  • Top dungeon “Spirits of the Deep” (+2)
  • This week’s Legacy Raid rotation: “King’s Fall” (+2) – farmable

  • Earn 200,000 points by completing Twilight (+2)
  • “Tades of Courage for Eternity”: Achieve at least 250,000 points or more (+2)
  • Complete the exo mission // node.ovrd.AVALON// in the EDZ (+2)

That’s all the information known for this week. The Guardians are excited about the story in Season 22, partly because Savathun fooled them badly in the Imbaru Challenge last week. It will therefore be interesting to see what cunning web she has spun to use the Guardians for her own purposes and in the end achieve what she has been planning for a long time.

How do you see the story this season 22? Exciting enough? Or could you use some more cunning Hive Witches to get going? Feel free to tell us in the comments.

The Guardians are already looking forward to this: the most poisonous weapon in Destiny 2 is finally getting what players have been begging for for years
