There is no information about Leskinen’s new club yet.
The 29-year-old Leskinen has represented the Kärppä team for a total of five seasons and won both the Finnish championship and SM silver during that time. In the 2018–2019 season, which ended in second place in the league, he was part of his team’s captaincy and set his single-season point record with 29+28=57. Leskinen had a contract for the 2023–2024 season.
In the seasons 2019–2021, Leskinen played for HIFK.
