Utrecht residents with Down syndrome do not have to repay
All three of the PGB holders have Down syndrome. A relative manages their affairs. The relatives purchased care from home care provider Dolia. In 2017, it turned out that Dolia had committed large-scale fraud. A large part of the invoices turned out to be forged and much care had not been provided. Zilveren Kruis previously calculated that they had been lifted by Dolia for more than 5 million euros.
