(Finance) – Increase mortgage applications in the United States. In the week to April 12, the index measuring the volume of mortgage loan applications recorded an increase of 3.3% after +0.1% in the previous week.
The index relating to requests for refinancing rose by 0.5%, while that relating to new questions recorded an increase of 5%.
This was announced by the Mortgage Bankers Associations (MBA), indicating that i rates on thirty-year mortgages they rose to 7.13% from 7.01% in the previous week.
