Two men arrested for aggravated robbery – pretended to be police officers

The police have arrested two men aged 35 in Mellerud, suspected of aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated breach of domestic peace and impersonation of a public position.

During the night of Sunday, they broke into a residence after pretending to be police officers.

There they attacked with an unknown spray and threatened with further violence.

The perpetrators took mobile phones and jewellery.

According to information to The evening paper could the men be arrested when their car stalled.

None of the victims needed ambulance care, the police write on their website.
