Two people died when a small sport plane crashed into the sea outside Norrköping at around 8pm on Sunday.
– It is a small propeller plane that we saw via radar lose a lot of height. A person who alerted SOS heard a big splash from the water, says Sara Eriksson, Maritime Administration.
The two people who were on board the plane were found dead at the wreckage, which lies on the seabed.
The plane was on its way from Poland to Dala-Järna in western Dalarna. For an unknown reason, it changed its flight path.
