TV4 takes over the award-winning viewership

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The entertainment program “Bäst i test” will disappear from SVT’s schedule after the current season, the TV channel announced on Friday morning. According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, TV4 will take over the rights. The reason behind the announcement is that SVT has not been able to match the rights costs, which are owned by the British production company Avalon. – We simply had to release “Best in Test”. The reason was that the British format owners suddenly demanded a price that we are unwilling and unable to pay. Then I’m talking about extreme money that we didn’t think was justifiable, says SVT’s program director Eva Beckman to Kulturnyheterna, without going into any sums. According to information, TV4 will take over the rights to the hit show. Aired on SVT for seven seasons, “Bäst i test” is an entertainment program where a fixed panel, together with a famous guest, compete against each other in all kinds of challenges. The program is based on the British publisher “Taskmaster”, which was sold to several countries. The Swedish edition premiered in 2017, and is currently hosted by David Sundin and Babben Larsson.
