The police and rescue services were called to the accident site, which is at the height of Väse, at 8.30am. The victims must have been able to get out of the vehicles themselves, but the driver of the passenger car has been taken to hospital by ambulance. The police’s work consists of helping with traffic management and to investigate whether any crime has been committed in connection with the accident. The Swedish Transport Administration assesses that the accident has a major impact on traffic and that limited access can be expected until 10 o’clock.
