Three men charged in Oxford County stolen-vehicle investigation

Three young men were arrested this week as part of a stolen-vehicle investigation in Oxford County.

Oxford OPP officers found the vehicle – earlier reported stolen from Woodstock – while patrolling the Bushell Court area of ​​Norwich Township early Monday morning.

The officers, with support from the emergency response team and canine unit, took three suspects into custody. As part of the investigation, officers seized two other vehicles that were suspected to be stolen, as well as allegedly stolen property and a quantity of suspected drugs, police said.

A 20-year-old Wasaga beach man was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, three counts of possession of stolen property with a value more than $5,000, one count of possession of stolen property with a value less than $5,000, failure to comply with a release order and failure to comply with probation.

An 18-year-old Hamilton man was chartered with theft of a motor vehicle, three counts of possession of stolen property with a value more than $5,000, failure to comply with an undertaking and drug possession.

Another 18-year-old Hamilton man was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, three counts of possession of stolen property with a value more than $5,000, failure to comply with an undertaking and drug possession.
