During the commemoration, refugees from Ukraine and Dutch people who have supported them in any way can meet each other in the Jaarbeurs and reflect on the war. Vital’nya’s (living rooms in Ukrainian) have been set up for this purpose, which represent regions in Ukraine. Films, photos and performances can be seen in these living rooms during the day. There are play activities for Ukrainian children, supervised by students from Hogeschool Utrecht and TeamUp sessions, a joint initiative of Save the Children, UNICEF Netherlands and War Child.
