Both Rönni and the person concerned were minors at the time of the charged act, more than two years ago.
A player of the ice hockey SM league team Tappara Top for Rönni today, Tuesday, the indictment for rape was read in the district court of Helsinki. The subject of the charge is an act two years ago, at the time of which both parties were minors.
Tappara announced the indictment in October. Rönni was sidelined from the team’s playing lineup, but returned to the ice at the end of November.

19-year-old Rönni is out of national team activities for the time being due to the charge.
