The star’s appeal to all clubs after the move to the SHL – he wants to change the league: “I would have appreciated it”

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

Mathias Bromé is back in the SHL.
Then he wants to see more fun hockey – from all teams.
– It’s dangerous if we’re going to become so fucking structured, he says in the podcast Släpp Sargen.

Within the SHL, there is often a debate about how to make hockey more fun and interesting for the supporters and all spectators. Some experts often believe that there is too little emotion within the league, which in turn leads to a decrease in interest.

He wants to change that

Mathias Bromé, star acquisition for Örebro ahead of the coming season, is on the same track. He believes that the feelings are absolutely necessary, but he would also like to see more offensive hockey in the league. He most recently comes from playing in the Swiss league, which is known for its offensive hockey.

But Bromé is also aware that fighting on the ice and hot feelings are needed.

– It is dangerous if we are going to become so damn structured, as we already are in Swedish hockey, that we are afraid of everything. Little is needed. Otherwise, people will probably get tired of going to watch, he says in the podcast Släpp Sargen.

“Let loose!”

But above all, it is the defensive attitude that he had changed.

– I would have appreciated if we had a league that was more offensive in Sweden, i.e. a little more back and forth. Shit in this damn defense game all the time. Let loose a little!

Bromé most recently comes from playing in the Swiss league, which is known for its offensive mindset.

– A bit like in Switzerland, anything can happen. But it’s fun to watch, and what’s selling? It’s not the team that concedes zero goals. I think we would have to open up a little.
