The timeless Birkenstock “Boston” clogs are on the feet of all fashionistas in recent months. Super comfortable, they are regularly sold out on the German brand’s website. Good news, it is now possible to treat yourself to a similar pair at Zara Home. The brand specializing in decoration from the Inditex group has revisited almost feature for feature the iconic strappy mules of the company listed on the New York Stock Exchange since October 11, 2023. While the Birkenstock model is available from 140 eurosthe one from Zara Home only costs 49.99 euros. A real good deal.
The main difference lies in the materials used. Ethylene-vinyl acetate, a very light mixture of plastics used for the inside of the sole by Birkenstock, is replaced by rubber, heavier and less flexible by the Spanish channel. And while both pairs of shoes are partially made from cowhide, the one the Zara Home clogs are made from is less thick and not oiled. Not necessarily ideal in the event of a downpour.
How to wear clogs with style?
Also available in a filled version for fall, the Zara Home clog is worn very naturally as an indoor shoe. But he also ventures out of the house and allows for change trainers and other moccasins.
Combined with wide-leg jeans, a white top and an oversized blazer, it creates a relaxed weekend look, perfect for a brunch with friends.
