Welcome aboard an airline like no other with “Terminal”, the Canal+ series broadcast from April 22, 2024 and available on the MyCanal platform.
The spirit of the 2000s sitcom is back with a new original creation Canal++ titled Terminal, available on MyCanal and broadcast on the encrypted channel from April 22, 2024, at 9 p.m. In this new “original creation”, Jamel Debbouze and Ramzy Bedia are gathered in an airport, within an airline unlike any other. Jamel Debbouze invested 100% in the project, juggling the roles of author, director, producer and actor. He surrounded himself with a team of screenwriters, including Xavier Lacaille and Paul Mirabel, and co-directed the series with Mohamed Hamidi.
The sitcom Terminal was filmed according to the rules of the art, in front of an audience. The shock crew of the company “Wingz” includes Ramzy Bedia, Camille Chamoux (Tapie, The Flame), Bérangère McNeese (HPI), Brahim Bouhlel (Valid), comedian Tristan Lopin and influencer Laureen “lapotegenante”. Other actors also appear in each of the 12 episodes including Aure Atika, Kad MeradCamille Cottin, Mister V, Stéphane De Groodt, Manu Payet…
Doesn’t that remind you of anything? Obviously, the format, the casting, but also the scenario of this Terminal are irresistibly reminiscent of another series, launched more than 20 years ago this time: the series Hwhich was the heyday of Canal+ from 1998 to 2002. Instead of an airport, H took place in a suburban hospital and perfectly made a mockery of the hospital series which were already in abundance at the time. All carried by a trio – Eric Judor, Ramzy Bedia and Jamel Debbouze – as funny as they are crazy. Enough to make those most nostalgic for this era and the famous “Canal spirit”, which was a little lost in the 2000s, want to take a look at Terminal. The series also promises to be a treat for fans of schoolboy and absurd humor.
