Soccer: Manchester United humiliated by Crystal Palace

Already in the twelfth minute, 1-0 for Crystal Palace came from Michael Olise’s feet. And that was the start of a night of nightmares for Manchester United, who had to see the ball find its way into the own goal four more times.

Despite 2-0 before the second half, there was never any intense pursuit of an equalizer from the Manchester team, who instead conceded two more balls in 20 minutes.

The match finished 4–0, meaning United are now two points clear of a Conference League place in the table and six points clear of a Europa League place with three rounds remaining.

The loss was United’s 13th in the Premier League this year. It is the most losses for United in a season in the PL.

For Crystal Palace, the score was of academic importance as the team is already ready for the Premier League next season and has no chance of reaching the European places.
