When the police raided a car and a home outside Uppsala in October last year, a total of 231 kilograms of explosives were found. A man and a woman in their 30s were prosecuted, and now they are both sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for, among other things, extremely serious crimes against the law on flammable and explosive goods, Upsala Nya Tidning writes.

A batch of narcotics as well as two pistols and a submachine gun, which are suspected to be connected to a shooting in Kapellgärdet last autumn, were also found in the home.

Both have admitted to handling the explosives, narcotics and weapons. But they deny wrongdoing because they state that they were in an emergency situation and felt pressured to carry out the missions.

Via encrypted chats, they should have received information about where and when pickup and delivery would take place. The principals have not been able to be traced.
