The secret luxury of production at Robinson

March 17 is the season premiere of Tv4’s reality show Robinson and the presenter Anders Lundin is back on the island. Anders Lundin led the program from 1999 to 2003 and later made a brief comeback during the spring 2023 season. Now he is back again.

When he is a guest on Tv4’s Nyhetsmorgon during the premiere day, he talks about how the production is doing on the island. Among other things, he talks about the community, the food and the excitement when the reporters tell about the day’s drama among the participants.

Viewers rage at the change in Robinson: “There will be drama”

“An incredibly nice place”

The production also works from the island. Although they are not as stranded as the participants. 2019 did Tv4 a short program where they showed the work behind the scenes and where you can see that the production lives in a production village.

– We are a collective that works there thrown out on a beach. We were in an incredibly nice place now and the best of all I think is that there is nothing around. No hotels or bars, nowhere for anyone to go. So everyone is there and everyone works together and you go to meetings, brainstorm ideas and it’s like a very fun collective to work with, says Anders Lundin in Nyhetsmorgon.

But perhaps the highlight of the day is when the reporters return for the day. Then the reporters tell about everything that has happened, about drama and disputes among the participants.

– In the evenings you sit on pins and needles because then the reporters come in from the islands, says Anders Lundin.

The production has its own restaurant

Another difference from the participants’ stay on the island is that the production receives food served directly from a restaurant.

– We also live relatively far away in the middle of nowhere. Sorry, but we have a restaurant, so we get food, says Anders Lundin and laughs.
