Last year’s Almedal week on Gotland ended in tragedy. On July 6, 2022, Theodor Engström, 33, murdered the psychiatric coordinator Ing-Marie Wieselgren, 64. When the first Almedal Week after the murder starts on Tuesday, the security apparatus has been evaluated and improved, says Carina Skagerlind, communicator at the Stockholm Police.
