The Invincible review

In our The Invincible review article, we take a closer look at the adventure we went on in the unique landscapes of the planet Regis III, presented to us by Starward Industries.

In these days when many games flow very fast, sometimes you need productions where you can have a more comfortable time. While I was looking for a production where you don’t have to run away from anything, where you can even hang around as you wish, where things don’t happen too quickly, The Invincible came to my rescue. The Invincible review In my article, we take a closer look at the game.

Story: Yasna and the Mysterious Planet Regis III

Our main character, Yasna, is an intelligent and talented astrobiologist. As part of the space race, Yasna and her crew travel to the uncharted and mysterious planet Regis III. This scientific expedition turns into a mission to search for missing team members. For some unknown reason, all scientists who set foot on the planet either die or lose their minds. Only the Yasna, which we rule, remains the only sane one. On the one hand, we need to find our missing teammates and on the other hand, we need to find the cause of the anomaly on the planet. What is this? Are there traces of a civilization that lived millions of years ago on the planet?

The Invincible Review

Adapted from the 1964 novel of the same name by the famous Polish writer named Stanislaw Lem, the game is inspired by the science fiction world he created, but also has a different story to allow those who read the book to gain a new perspective on the events taking place on the strange planet Regis III.

Adventure Blended with Science and Philosophy

In this spooky and cosmic adventure, Yasna explores unknown scientific phenomena. She relies on his trusty Astrogator’s voice in difficult times, picking up pieces of lost items and reporting the situation to his trusty Astrogator. He will not be able to foresee the greatest threat humanity faces, causing humanity to question its ambitions and prejudices.

Invincible offers a unique visual experience with its wonderful graphics and landscapes. You will also see planets, moons and other astral bodies during the game that will take your breath away. Even though I played it on PC, it is a game that can also provide a great experience for VR. While it shows the environmental details in minute detail, it gives you the pleasure of discovering a brand new planet. In short, the visor of Yasna’s helmet combines colors and shadows perfectly, taking you into the world of The Invincible.

Planets and Moons in the Sky Are Breathtaking

There are so many different twists and turns throughout the story of Invincible that it will leave you with a headache and perhaps a dizzy spell. But this is probably because your oxygen levels are low. This is very important. I don’t want to give too much away right now, but your goals and priorities will change, and then change again, as you learn more of the story with the help of your stationary Astrogator, the captain of your mission. Behind all this, tension will begin to rise as your answers lead to more questions, revealing more mysteries to be solved.

The Invincible’s greatest success is that they quickly get sucked into the game’s story and never take it out from then on. Early in the game, you’ll be immediately struck by Yasna’s plight and her lack of memory resulting from the events that led to her awakening. The developers have done a good job of ensuring that the tension builds from then on.

The Invincible Review

Without giving away spoilers, my favorite part of the game had to be the first part of the mission, where you head back to base camp to reconnect with your team and find out what happened during the amnesia. The only thing that will get you there is your own mind. You have no idea what happened when you land on the planet, but with brief flashbacks added throughout your journey you sense there is something wrong.

Progressing through the game can sometimes be confusing. In the first episode, it was not easy to figure out how to leave the valley we woke up in. I had to comb through the huge valley. Since climbing the hills was out of the question, I eventually noticed the passage in the higher part of the valley and continued on my way. However, I encountered such situations frequently throughout the game.

The Invincible Review

We said that The Invincible has a wonderful view, but this does not mean that its graphics are great. I have to say that the character models do not suit a game that offers such a beautiful view. Deficiencies in animations can also be noticed throughout the game. Especially in the in-game cinematics, it adds the atmosphere of a production made maybe 10-15 years ago.

The Invincible Review: Conclusion

However, when we combine the plot and flow, The Invincible is a game worth giving a chance. Invincible is a science-fiction adventure blended with science and philosophy that offers players a calm and in-depth experience. The game’s rich story, comprehensive graphics and atmospheric world attract us for long periods of time, promising a special experience for science-fiction and adventure enthusiasts.
